Lighting That Delivers Precision, Comfort, and Care

At the Quadia Diagnostic Center inside St. Anna Hospital, Piaseczno, Spectra Lighting provided a lighting solution designed to support both clinical excellence and patient comfort. The interior, envisioned by AGL-Architekci, required lighting seamlessly fitting into modern medical spaces—blending hygiene, visual comfort, and robust control systems.

Lighting in healthcare environments has to hit high standards, both technically and for the people using the space. In diagnostic and prep areas, high-CRI (≥ 90) luminaires are essential to ensure clear color perception, which is critical for medical accuracy. Balanced lighting reduces eye strain, while in patient zones, soft ambient light helps create a calm, supportive atmosphere.

The installation uses Tunable White technology and DALI-based scene control, allowing light to adjust dynamically to the rhythm of the working day. Cooler tones promote focus and energy during peak hours; warmer light enhances relaxation and recovery. This human-centric approach aligns with WELL Building Standard principles, improving both staff concentration and patient experience.

All installed fixtures are from our healthcare lighting portfolio, compliant with PZH and INEC standards. Sealed housing and smooth finishes allow frequent cleaning and disinfection, which is vital for infection control and long-term operational safety.

The result is a lighting environment that supports medical accuracy while maintaining efficiency and comfort across every zone. The Quadia project demonstrates how advanced lighting systems can transform medical spaces — uniting clinical precision with architectural harmony. Through technology and thoughtful design, lighting becomes an active element of health, safety, and care.
